SCOTT NEUMEYER

Scott Neumeyer (23-24)

Mr. Neumeyer was born in Detroit but spent most of his childhood in the Saginaw area. He attended Valley Lutheran High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Concordia University in Ann Arbor. He later earned his master’s degree in health, physical education, and recreation from Emporia State University.

This is his second tenure at St. Peter, having previously served as St. Peter’s 5th grade teacher from 1999-2006. His past Lutheran teaching experience includes time spent at Lutheran Northwest High School in Rochester Hills and at Peace Lutheran School in Saginaw. He also has experience as a public school teacher having taught at Thompson Middle School in Saginaw and at St. Louis High School in St. Louis.

In addition to teaching, Mr. Neumeyer enjoys coaching. He’s coached basketball and soccer at the middle school level as well as basketball at the varsity level. He has also coached at many of the SK.I.L.L.S. Basketball Camps. He currently serves as the girls’ varsity basketball coach at Hemlock High School.

When he’s not teaching or coaching, you’ll likely find Mr. Neumeyer on an athletic field of some sort as he is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing just about all sports.

Mr. Neumeyer is blessed to be teaching at St. Peter as well as be a part of the St. Peter and Hemlock communities.
