ALEX FRISCO

alex frisco.jpg

Alex Frisco was born in Michigan, but because her father served in the army, she had the opportunity to live in many places across the United States as well as in Germany.

She attended Concordia University Ann Arbor where she met her husband, Eric, who is a teacher at Garber High School. In 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a major in Mathematics and a Lutheran Teaching Diploma.

Her first call was to Immanuel Lutheran School in Alpena, MI, where she taught primarily 5th–8th grade math and science for 3 1/2 years. After the birth of their first two children, she chose to take a few years off to stay home with them and, later, their third child. During this time, her husband’s job brought their family to Kokomo, IN, where she pursued further education and completed her Master of Arts in Educational Technology in 2022 from Concordia University - St. Paul.

That same year, Alex and Eric felt called to serve at Anchor Lutheran School in Anchorage, AK. There, she taught upper school math, science, and design for three years. While they cherished their time in Alaska surrounded by natural beauty and adventure, Alex accepted the call in 2025 to join the ministry at St. Peter to teach 5th grade. Their family is grateful to be closer to family once again and are excited to be a part of the wonderful ministry at St. Peter.

In her spare time, Alex enjoys reading, drinking coffee on her front porch, hiking, and camping with her family.
